Someone who really makes the difference

“………since the day we held hands…..I have learned a lot about love, to really care about someone, to depend on someone………to take more than a casual interest in what happens to someone’s life……..and how ‘just a friend’ becomes ‘someone who really makes the difference’……”

She wrote to me. As I went on reading, I knew……..the truth in it.

It’s so wonderfully amazing an emotion-LOVE.

Never thought I would be in love like this. But miracles happen and it happened to me. A simple friend became ‘the one making the difference’. A random girl I didn’t know properly six months ago, became someone I would leave the whole world for.

I always wondered, what is in it?

Now I know the answer. Everything is in it. Happiness, sadness, passion, anger, care, hatred, dependence, support..……and love of course. Now, you might just ask, “What’s new with these emotions?” Yes these are emotions that are common to us, but when you are in love they just takes a different dimension.

I now know how it feels, when she depends on me. It’s not pressure I you feel, but it’s an urge, a strong feeling of duty that I guess makes me feel good and happy. It’s like I now know, like she wrote it, ‘to really care about someone’. And, when you know that the other person just cares so much more, you’ll want to race for it. A race to give her more.

It’s not my life anymore, not for me only anymore, it’s for her and for us, together. It’s about sharing and knowing each other more than the day before. Sometimes it’s about knowing her more than my own self. To take more than a casual interest in the most casual of things about her, that is love. And I’m happy to loose myself for her because I know it’s the same from her. This feeling of mutual understanding and sharing is a feeling of heaven. I’m lucky that I’m in love.
I would say it once more- “I am Lucky”.

Why? You ask……
Because, I’m her best friend. her soul-mate. I’m lucky because she’s my best friend and soul-mate, lucky because she loves her best friend. I love the way it is between us. I’m happy because she’s mine. I’m happy that she made me ‘the one making the difference’. I’m lucky that she’s the one ‘making the difference’ for me.

After writing this far, it still seems I couldn’t just express what I wanted to tell. Because ‘love’ is something that you can write about all day and it won’t end. You just have to feel it in your own way with your loved one.

I will end this with one thing for her…….. “I LOVE YOU”…….
